PriorityPak™ Automated Packaging
System
Create a complete containment package in one easy
step
Take
control of your packaging with the PriorityPak™
System - the fast, flexible way to create a complete
containment package in one easy step. The
PriorityPak™ system is a high-speed product
containment and protective packaging solution with
advanced sensor technology that makes it the perfect
solution for fluctuating volume and variable
packaging requirements. This system allows operators
to create up to 20 packages a minute, depending on
the size of the item, compared to three packages a
minute with manual packaging methods.
How It Works
Operator places the product on the belt and lets the
PriorityPak™ System go to work.
Smart-sensing technology on the system scans an
item’s shape and size to deliver the correct amount
of packaging material from the two supply rolls of
cohesive material.
This material forms a protective package around the
product as our proven process seals the edges,
locking your product in place for a tight and secure
fit.
Package emerges in seconds, perfectly centered,
secured and ready to ship.
Packaging Material Choices
PriorityWrap™ Bubble Laminate
Strong and versatile material ideal for products
requiring both surface protection and cushioning.
Perfect for lightweight items such as CD-ROMs,
cosmetics, DVDs, pharmaceuticals and window blinds.
PriorityWrap™ Rigid Board
Patented XRS Roller technology creates a crescent
seal that suspends items in the center of the
package minimizing product movement while providing
additional corner protection.
Best used to package items requiring increased
rigidity, corner, edge and surface protection
including books, calendars and photographs.
Three System Choices
Manual system:
Operators place an item on the bottom web of the
cohesive-coated material, apply the shipping label
to the top web of the material and push a button to
create the package.
Semi-automated system:
Coupled with a lugged in-feed conveyor that allows
an operator to place an item on the conveyor where
it is automatically packaged and ready for label
application.
Automated system:
Similar to the semi-automated system, but the system
reads the bar code on the order-picking slip and
automatically prints and applies the label to the
package.
